I realize it’s been quite a while since we’ve given a New Music Tuesday post to our legions of loyal followers (hah), but it’s a new year and we do what we want anyways. Please see below for some sonic treats including a new video from Title Fight (easily our Most Anticipated new record), a new jam from Purity Ring, and links to stream Turnstile and Sick Feeling’s new LPs.
First up is a band new blue video from PA punks Title Fight. “Rose of Sharon” is the second video from the band’s highly anticipated (especially by us) new LP Hyperview, due out February 3rd on ANTI- Records. Do yourself a great big favor and pre-order it, and maybe get yourself some sick sweatpants in the process.
Next is a new track from Edmonton duo Purity Ring, who have just announced a new LP entitled Another Eternity out March 3rd on 4ad. Pre-order here while listening to the first new track “Begin Again.”
Now head over to SPIN to stream the new LP from Brooklyn hardcore outfit Sick Feeling. This excellent new record is released January 20 on Geoff Rickly of Thursday’s own Collect Records and Terrible Records. Rickly himself has stated that this is his new favorite hardcore record. High praise considering Rickly had a hand (or two) in making one of our favorite hardcore records of 2014 (United Nations The Next Four Years).
And lastly for a different kind of Feeling. Check out the new record from MD hardcore band Turnstile. Nonstop Feeling, released today on Reaper Records, is streaming in full on Spotify and it deserves your attention.
